WHAT WILL EACH CLASS OR TUTORING SESSION BE LIKE?
Each session will be engaging, interactive, and multisensory -using the Science of Reading at the core of Orton Gillingham to allow each child to develop a deeper understanding of how sounds and language work.
Each lesson includes a phonological awareness strategy/review, review and introduction of an irregular word, and a new"linkage" (sound).
Each new concept is practiced through"word work", and the dictation of phrases and sentences.
Each lesson concludes with authentic reading experiences at the student's level to practice the skills taught.
Lessons can be adapted at a moment's notice to fit your child's needs.
Each lesson is very structured and systematic, and will be fun!
WHAT IS THE PAYMENT POLICY?
Invoices are sent on the 1st of every month and are due by the 5th.
I use an Equal Payment System: The total amount of tuition for the semester or school year will be divided by the number of months, giving you equal payments each month.
This will ensure that you never have the surprise of a higher invoice during longer months!
While you will still get an invoice emailed to you on the first, you will be able to plan your expenses more easily because your payment for class/tutoring will always be the same.
This payment plan is not an obligation to work together, but rather the intention of working together for the school year and ensuring payments are predictable enough for you to plan on.
Most families work with me for the full year, but if for any reason this ends up not being a good fit, we can still discontinue services.
HOW LONG WILL EACH CLASS/SESSION BE?
Classes and tutoring sessions are 50 minutes unless otherwise discussed and approved ahead of time.
HOW ARE PAYMENTS MADE?
I take payments via Square.
